4-H Walk on the Wet Side Marine Club

Youth will see that learning about the environment can be fun through fun, interactive, and educational activities. In the 4-H Walk on the Wet Side Marine Club youth will learn about ecological concepts related to Florida’s aquatic/marine ecosystems. In addition the activities promote the concept of good stewardship in the use and management of these valuable resources. Some activities youth will experience include; developing a marine ecosystem food web, creating an estuary, and playing “Mangrove Madness” to learn about the three types found in Florida.
