The 4-H Environmental Education Curriculum includes a basic premise, that our environment is a web of cooperation and interdependence. It is not surprising that the conservation and preservation of the earth’s soil, air, and water supply commands a priority within the total 4-H environmental education curriculum. An investment in young people’s knowledge, understanding and attitudes about our water use, conservation and water quality issues and their affect on the natural environment cannot be ignored now or in the future. All of the curriculum offer preplanned hands-on activities that you the teacher can incorporate into current unit plans or use as free standing units of study. The 4-H curriculum are also aligned with the Florida Sunshine State Standards.

It is highly recommended and in some cases required, that teachers be enrolled to use curriculum in this section before having a guest speaker in your class or before coming on an educational tour.
