4-H Kidstart: Kids Can Care

Targeted Grade level: Grades 2-5

The elementary curriculum was updated in the spring of 2001. Some exciting additions have been made to include correlation with the Florida Sunshine State Standards and FCAT testing, as well as updated statistics. All participating teachers will receive the curriculum for free to keep and use in their classroom. Please complete the enrollment form even if you already have the curriculum. Your enrollment will tell us who is using the curriculum.

A community service project is part of the lessons, so the youth will not only learn about homelessness, but will also help the homeless in Pinellas County. The community service project is a food, toiletry, and linen drive. Contact Francesca Anthony at 588-6434 for more information on the community service project.
