4-H Talking with TJ 
Targeted Grade Levels: Grades 2-5
Talking with TJ “Teamwork Series” is an exciting educational program to improve the teamwork skills of youth in your classroom. Through the program, children learn important skills of planning, cooperating, and appreciating differences. The program encourages children to work and play together in more caring and cooperative ways; a very important goal in today's culturally diverse society.
Talking with TJ “Conflict Management” is an exciting educational program developed to improve the conflict management skills of youth in your classroom. Children will learn how to manage anger, respect other points of view, and communicate diplomatically.
In each program, three 15-minute video segments, comic books or flyers, lively discussion times, and hands-on activities combine into six learning sessions of 30-45 minutes in length. "Talking With TJ" was developed by the National 4-H Council along with Girl Scouts of the USA and Boys & Girls Clubs of America and is funded by the Hallmark Corporation.
