Wings, Stings and Crawly Things
The Wonderful World of Insects
Suitable for Grades: K-12
Program Available: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
This tour focuses on the wealth of insects to be found in a garden and in natural areas. Our butterfly expert will explain life cycles of familiar and un-familiar insects as the class explores several habitats, including our new Butterfly Garden. The class will meet butterflies, dragonflies, ants, gall wasps, and many other six-legged denizens of the undergrowth. Students will get a close-up view of some insects with magnifying glasses (provided).
