GreenStar Office is an interdepartmental Pinellas County Government program designed to provide any office staff with simple and easy ways to incorporate ‘green’ practices in their daily operations. Training will be given in the following four areas:

• Waste reduction/recycling

• Green purchasing

• Pollution prevention through
  chemical reduction and elimination, and

• Energy efficiency

Participants will be encouraged and challenged to take at look at their individual office environment and identify ways to incorporate sustainable practices.

Small Changes, Big Rewards!

The program targets office staff and offers the following two classes:

• GreenStar BASICS is a 30-minute online class that provides an introduction to waste reduction/recycling, green purchasing, chemical reduction and energy efficiency. Register here.
• GreenStar ADVANCED is a four-hour classroom session that takes an in-depth look at waste reduction/recycling, green purchasing, chemical reduction and energy efficiency. Register here.

Local municipalities/ cities and the business community are encouraged and invited to register for these classes.
